The Royal Canadian Air Cadet program functions as a partnership between the Department of National Defense and the Air Cadet League of Canada. At a local, Squadron level, this relationship is represented by the Squadron’s Sponsoring Committee and the Squadron’s Commanding Officer.
At 918 Squadron, the Sponsoring Committee is led by the Executive. In the majority of cases, parents of cadets in the squadron volunteer their time and are elected into executive positions by other parents.
