In response to the extended COVID-19 activity cancellation and the early feedback from our stand-down input survey, 918 Squadron will be hosting some optional online learning opportunities for cadets to participate in. We intend to host these sessions weekly, Wednesdays 1900-2040h, primarily via the 918 Discord Server. Our first scheduled session is Wed 22 Apr.
The topics and activities will vary, but cadets can expect a combination of fun engagement with fellow squadron members and topics of interest to cadets (aviation, leadership, CAF familiarization, etc). Each evening will normally consist of two different lessons, with a break inbetween. Initially, cadets will be divided by proficiency level, but we are exploring some more creative and challenging ideas that may involve different group sizes and composition, depending on demand.
Utilization of online content delivery is not routine within the cadet program, and we are continually adapting to new ideas and innovation as we adjust to our new reality. Please bear with us as we continue to improve. Your input and feedback is important during this development period.
