A reminder to the Squadron that the cadet fitness assessment will be taking place on Wed 28 Nov. Participation in this fitness assessment is one of the required elements for promotion to most ranks. All cadets will bring a water bottle and will be in physical training (PT) dress. Some rules about PT dress for our Squadron:
- Shirts must have sleeves (ex: t-shirt). Tank tops, muscle shirts, etc. are not permitted. Bare shoulders and midriffs are not permitted.
- Shorts should be approx. mid-thigh length or longer. An easy measurement is approx. as long as your fingertips, when you stand with arms relaxed at your sides. Leggings are not permitted.
- Athletic shoes (capable of participating in sports and fitness) must be worn. No sock feet, no bare feet, no sandals or flip flops. Loosely tied, casual “street” or “skater” shoes are generally not appropriate.
- All clothing items will be free of offensive remarks and/or logos.
If you are in doubt or have questions about what is or is not appropriate, contact your Sr NCOs and Flight leadership. Cadets who do not conform to these guidelines may be denied participation or sent home until a change of attire is made.
