Funds generated in the Highway Cleanup Project will directly go to the 918 Air Cadet Squadron.
The Government of Alberta ( trans.hwy-cleanupcalgary@gov.ab.ca ) has assigned us to clean up Hwy 547 from Hwy 1 South to the South Boundary of the Reserve in the afternoon on May 6, 2023. The length of this section of the highway is 18 km. The government will pay $100 per km. We need 18 adults and 18 cadets as volunteers. 2 people will form a group and clean up 1 km of the highway.
Our current plan is
12:30 Parents volunteers meet at the Good Shepherd Church
14:00 – 16:00 Highway cleanup in 18 groups
17:00 Volunteers come back to the Good Shepherd Church
