Updated: 1 Aug 20 @1300h. Cadets late-loaded onto the Web Programming course (A_Programming_2E).
The majority of cadets who applied have now been course loaded for Virtual CTC training. Most cadets received their first choice, although some cadets were loaded to their second or third choices. Some cadets are loaded on multiple courses, and some cadets may not have been loaded onto the specific serial requested (but are still loaded to the course they wanted).
A full list of 918 Griffon Squadron cadets who have been course loaded is available, organized by course and organized by cadet last name. Cadets who applied for Virtual CTC Courses are advised to review the course load list to confirm what course(s) they are attending.
All cadets course loaded should have already received an initial email that outlines Virtual CTC Course IT login information. That email includes instructions on how to sign up and join the virtual platforms being used for their course. For most cadets, this platform is Microsoft Teams, via a unique cadet login (administered by Shared Services Canada, GC Collaboration Team). Additional details regarding IT information for Virtual CTC courses is available.
Cadets may still apply for Virtual CTC courses this summer, and applications will continue to be accepted until the courses have been fully loaded, or until 4 weeks into Virtual CTC (whichever comes first). If you are unable to participate, there will be an attempt to record most sessions of most courses. Technical limitations are still being sorted, but there is an intent to allow future / later viewing.
If you have questions about Virtual CTC course loading, your first point of contact is Capt Hunter, who is 918 Sqn’s summer contact officer. From there, your inquiry may be further directed for more accurate information.
