The final formal parade of the training year is scheduled to take place on the evening of Wed 19 Jun. There will be a fair number of promotions and qualification badges being presented, as cadets have now finished off their various requirements from training this year.
Cadet parents and other family members are welcome to attend and celebrate your cadet’s achievements. Promotions and presentations will likely start at approx. 1900h (after the CO inspects and a marchpast is completed). We will attempt to be brisk and keep the parade length as reasonable as possible.
As soon as the parade finishes, cadets and cadet parents attending summer training are to attend a briefing. Our best guess for time is approx 1945h for briefing start. There is some important information and changes to this summer’s training. Cadets not attending summer training are free to depart after the formal parade.
For cadets expecting new proficiency level qualification badges and ranks, it would be appreciated and helpful if you could bring your old qualification badges and ranks (slip ons and tunic “hooks”) to supply after parade, for a straight swap. This helps ensure that we maintain a healthy stock of badges, do not waste uniform budget on excess surplus badges (instead of necessary uniform parts), and ensure we don’t run out. Thank you.
