As stated last week, in order for PL3 cadets to pass their level they must complete a number of assessments. They are: an aviation exam, instructional assessment, leadership assessment, and drill assessment.
A Google drive folder has been created that has all the information required for all the assessments. Click here.
Aviation Exam
On March 4th, 2020 PL3 cadets will be writing their exams during period 3 in the atrium. Tables will be set up before hand. To help you study, a study guide has been created that is on the Google drive folder. The bolded items are the most important items to know.
Instructional Assessment
Each PL3 cadet must teach a 15-minute lesson to their peers. A sign up google form has been created where cadets may sign up for the lesson they would like to teach and the date they will teach it on. Please only sign up once as the form has been set up in a way for only one response per cadet. If you do not remember what you signed up for a copy of your responses will be sent to the email you filled out the form with. The responses document will also be available to be viewed in the Google drive folder. Once you have chosen your lesson their instructional guide (IG) and qualification standards plan (QSP) can be found in the Google drive lessons information folder. Other useful documents can also be found in a subfolder.
Lesson information can be found here.
Leadership Assessments
These will be done throughout the rest of the training years, especially, at special events such as FTX’s and other weekend events. The assessment form can be found on the Google drive if you would like to know how you are being assessed.
Drill Assessments
Lastly, cadets will need to perform the job of the flight’s sergeant (2IC). This will be done before parade or on extra time if needed. The exact days will be released later once it has been coordinated with the warrant officers.
